ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN AND EFFECTIVENESS OF EMERALD FOOD AND BEVERAGE COMPANY LIMITED OWERRI, IMO STATE
Abstract
The study investigated the relationship organizational design has with organizational effectiveness. Specifically, the study examined the relationship between structure, process, and rewards on goal attainment of Emerald Food & Beverage Company Limited Owerri. The study adopted descriptive research design and with a sample simple of 45 participants that were randomly selected. The study adopted the Spearman correlation for the testing of the hypotheses. Findings revealed organisational structure, organisational process, and the reward system were all positively and significantly related to goal attainment. The study recommended for the integration of all five elements of organisational design when designing or re-designing their organisation.
